Festival of Eugene canceled amid racist social media post attributed to the event’s organizer, who says she was hacked: The fledgling Festival of Eugene has been canceled for this year, amid a controversial social media post attributed to the event’s organizer, Krysta Albert. Albert did not immediately respond to an email and phone call on Friday from The Register-Guard. Her Facebook profile and the festival’s Facebook page since have been deleted.
