Teaching fellows, University of Oregon reach agreement

Teaching fellows, University of Oregon reach agreement: In a radical departure from the last contract negotiations, the University of Oregon and the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation quietly inked a tentative three-year deal this week. The union’s 1,500 members will be asked to ratify the contract when they ­return in the fall. Negotiations over the preceding two-year contract precipitated an eight-day strike, disruption to finals week and a lingering bitterness.
