University of Oregon President Michael Schill mulls the institution’s reaction to professor’s appearance in blackface: Over recent weeks, law professors and other experts from across the country penned critical opinions about the University of Oregon’s handling of a Halloween incident where a professor wore blackface. On Monday, UO President Michael Schill, a former law professor, weighed in with his own thinking about the Oct. 31 incident in a “Dear Colleagues” e-mail.
