The two men stabbed to death yesterday on a train in Portland, trying to intervene when another passenger began shouting anti-Muslim hate speech at two young Muslim women, represent the best in us. Their compassion and courage in the face of brutal intolerance is the essence of what it means to defend the founding principles of this nation -- and what we memorialize on Memorial Day.

Today May 27/17 at Saturday Market in Eugene a man came to my friend who does Hina Tatoo and was holding anti-Muslims Signs!! He was harassing her saying all kinds of hateful things against Muslims!
