Lane County’s sellers’ market sets new single-family-home records: Lane County’s sizzling sellers’ real estate market continues to burn up records. The number of pending home sales in May set a 16-year-record, and the county’s inventory of homes for sale fell to a record low of 1.6 months, according to the Regional Multiple Listing Service in Portland. The inventory of homes for sale is a number based on how long it would take to sell the entire supply of for-sale homes at the current sales pace.
