Farr’s service hasn’t been spotless: I was disappointed to see the editors’ endorsement of Pat Farr for re-election to the Lane County Board of Commissioners. The endorsement made several references to Farr’s “decades of public service.” Right. This is the Pat Farr who, as a Eugene city councilor, championed tax breaks for Hyundai, calling it “unfair” to ask the company to accept limits on those breaks.
