Democrats must regain majority: Peter DeFazio’s Dec. 28 guest viewpoint, “Repairing roads best route to providing jobs,” rightly points out that if Republicans had not thrown away trillions on the rich and the corporations, they could have created 10 times as many jobs investing in infrastructure. President Trump is killing thousands by destroying health care and removing any regulations that protect consumers or the environment.
