Teenager who filmed himself raping girl 'deserves leniency because he's from a good family’, judge said

Robin Brookman"A New Jersey high school boy took a drunk 16-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her in a dark basement. The boy filmed himself penetrating her from behind, then later shared the cellphone video among friends, with the accompanying text that said, “When your first time having sex was rape”.

The Judge decided the boy shouldn't be punished because he's an Eagle Scout and his family is rich. The Judge also said the girl wasn't raped because the boy did't use a gun.
