Abu-Jamal defense files new appeal in Pa. Superior Court, accusing prosecution of misconduct: Defense attorneys for Mumia Abu-Jamal have filed their latest appeal attempt in Pennsylvania Superior Court, and have accused the original Philadelphia prosecutor of misconduct during his 1982 murder trial. Abu-Jamal was convicted of killing police officer Danny Faulkner. This latest court filing is an effort to make way for a new trial.
