With the COVID-19 virus houseless people are completely shut out into the snow. Today we served folks shivering and wet because of the hard night outside. If you want to help please contact Mayor Wheeler, and your local officials (full list and numbers below) for an immediate moratorium on sweeps, immediately open up severe weather beds, and to demand better preparedness regarding warming centers in times of crisis. No one should die outside because the city can't come together to better protect those most vulnerable. Our community surviving outside deserve better!!!
